In a welcoming and structured classroom setting, our group of student teachers conducted an authentic writing assessment designed to encourage self-expression and critical thinking. We began by sharing personal letters with the student, modeling clear organization and idea development. The student then wrote their own letter, demonstrating their ability to structure thoughts, form sentences, and communicate effectively. This hands-on approach fostered confidence, collaboration, and meaningful learning, highlighting the importance of interactive and student-centered assessments in developing strong writing skills.
